Shabbat Opening Service (Friday Evening at 7:30 PM)
Shabbat is a day set aside by GOD for man to rest in His presence. It is a day to cease from all labor. It is a day to focus on GOD and in the presence of GOD. It is a day to be relational with your family. It is a time to declare GOD’s blessings over your generations. According to the Book of Exodus, the Shabbat is a day of rest that has been established on the seventh day of the week and it is commanded by GOD to be kept as a Holy Day of rest for his people, Israel, and the non-Jew believer.
The Shabbat Opening Service is a time for the Family of Faith to come together to welcome the Shabbat Shalom of the LORD into our lives, our family and our city. It is a time to celebrate the goodness of GOD in communion with the Faith family. We dance, we sing praises to our King, we receive a spiritual meal in the Word of GOD, we bless our family members, and we share a natural meal – compliments of the Family of Faith.
